All my Condolences to the Ducat Family.
Larry was a very kind - hearted person & worked hard & was totally devoted with his mother Lee to the mission of JDRF. Heart is very heavy to see the first child from the original group pass away from this dreaded disease & a cure is still at a arms reach!
Love, Blessings & lots of Hugs to the entire family!
Our sincerest condolences to all the Ducat family and friends. Janis and I have known the Larry and the Ducat family for 44 years and, since "Aunt Lee" is how our kids refer to her, we truly feel like family to Larry. The thanks of the "juvenile" diabetics of the world is owed to Lee, and Larry. Larry was the inspiration and the cause for JDF, now JDRF's creation. Lee and Edwin's quest for a better world and a cure for Larry was the impetus for this ongoing scientific quest. When we met Larry in 1976, he was already growing into the man we all knew. We got to spend time periodically over the years to see him grow, personally and professionally, Our hearts go out to Lee, the girls and the grandkids on this premature loss.
My dearest sympathy to the Ducat family for the loss of your Father, Son, Brother, Grandfather & Friend..even though we were distant in recent years he was always my loving brother, our experiences together as teens and even through early adult years will always be etched in my heart.
May you begin your new journey Larry. You left behind a beautiful and loving family that enjoyed your wondrous soul. Your friends you made along the way were enriched by your patience and acceptance and mellow wisdom. Thank you for our great times together. Your family was great and enjoyed the times we had together.
Sending our love
Emily and Erica- Your tribute to your Dad today would have made him so proud . Thank you so much for including us
My heartfelt condolences to all of you. May Larry's memory be a blessing. Love Howard Rubin and Randi Rubin
I am deeply saddened to know that Larry Ducat has died. He is the reason that JDRF exists and the reason my daughter Joanna lives a full and healthy life today, after being diagnosed with T1D at the age of 5, 42 years ago. My husband Terry and I and our three daughters will never stop supporting JDRF and the diabetes cause until Type One becomes Type None. I am very very sorry for your loss. Bonnie & Terry Jackson
We send our sincerest condolences. Our hearts break with yours. Please consider this a real hug!

You will be missed, Larry. Love, Rob
Goodbye old friend may your new journey begin knowing that you left behind a beautiful family and friends that grew because of you. The world is a better place because you were part of it. Thank you.
Lee, Amy, Erica and Emily and your families. I am very sorry for your loss. I have a lot of good memories of time spent with your dad. Mostly before we both moved away from Philly. I had not spoken to Larry in over a year and tried to reach out to him earlier this year to see how he was. I just arrived in Palm Beach Florida planning to stay the winter and to look him up down here and try to get together. I am sad that that didn't happen.
Sending you and your Family my thoughts, prayers and love Emily. Myself and the entire Gold Coast Beverage Marketing team send you our condolences on this very difficult day. We love you. Christina Cioeta
