Stoneman Douglas Victims Fundraiser – PaMBA Rocks-2018!

CONCERT/ FUNDRAISER UPDATE: We are switching gears in light of yesterday’s tragedy. Just got off the phone with Colette Burns, Program Director, Innovative Teaching Programs, Broward Education Foundation in the Superintendent’s Office of Broward County Schools in charge of handling relief efforts from the shooting at Margory Stoneman Douglas High School yesterday. Our Non Profit event PaMBA Rock-2018! Multi-Band East Coast Concert/ Fundraiser will combine our efforts to raise money for the victims of this tragedy.
Colette has shared with us the vendors, contacts and protocol to help us begin so that we are on the same page with our efforts to help the victims. We are in the process of purchasing 300 bracelets specifically created to honor the victims and raise money. We will be selling these at the door and inside our event March 4th at O’Malleys Sports Bar.
* A candlelight vigil outside of the venue (time TBA) to remember and honor the victims directed by minister Dan Carr will be held.

*A Personal Message: My late daughter, Paige Madison attended Stoneman Douglas for a time. Living in Coral Springs/ Parkland area since I was 18 I feel connected in a deep way with our community. Paige being killed on Dec. 29, 2016 at 25 years old in a car crash last year just shy of 3 months before graduating cosmetology school, my heart breaks for every parent, family member and friend experiencing this. I could think of no other way to honor those involved than to use our fundraiser to help the School Board’s cause. Because it’s not just theirs, it’s all of ours.

O’Malley’s Sports Bar on Florida’s east coast is where you want to be for this one day event! Mark your calendars NOW! It’s the ONLY time you will see all of these AMAZING bands perform on the same stage for our live concert for kids- “PaMBA Rock- 2018!”.

Our Mission: helping kids in need of help to find their dreams through assistance with tuition, books and mentoring programs, this event celebrates the memory of a beloved girl, Paige Madison. My daughter and best friend who was tragically taken in a car crash. Come enjoy the music and the fun while supporting a much needed cause.
